The singer, 27, who secretly married rapper Jay-Z in April, flashed an 18 carat flawless diamond by Lorraine Schwartz, valued at more than $5 million dollars, according to the jeweler. Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z have publicly confirmed their marriage but in recent weeks, Beyoncé's younger sister Solange referred to Jay-Z as her brother-in-law during a television interview. People.

Personally I would never want something like that, and I don't think a bigger diamond makes a ring better.

Especially when it's YOUR money to spend. These are famous people, therefore it shouldn't shock people that they over indulge when it comes to spending money. True, there are many other things that he could've done with his money, but he chose to buy his then fiance' a ridiculously expensive ring...what's the problem?...

It kills me when people do that "I wouldn't do that no matter what." Uh, they're spending is very different from ours. Sure, we SAY that, but we aren't used to having everything handed to us and having money outta our asses! 5 million to him is like 20 bucks to us and the 20 bucks that WE go through may be a truckload to someone else
