Came home last night to find a mouse running across my small hallway by the kitchen and into the back storage area. I live in the basement of a three flat -
so the back storage area is basement like - unfinished, people store random stuff in there etc. I stuff a towel under that door as well as my bedroom door to
be able to sleep, but have never seen a mouse in the 11 months I have lived here. I move out (already planned) in 3 weeks.
My parents offered me to move in with them for the remainder of the time before my new apartment is ready, but I cant swallow leaving here after how much rent I pay/still have to move all my stuff out.
I called landlord, left a message, awaiting her call back.
I want to get my stuff out of that back storage area but am scarred to go in there after seeing the mouse run in there last night.
What would you do? Suck it up and stay for 3 weeks while slowly moving stuff out...am I safe in the main room/my bedroom to sleep? Or would you leave now?
Its SO gross to me to see a mouse, as common as they are in homes, its still disgusting.
