New dress code, though! No tshirts, jeans, tennis shoes, etc.
We just bought a house so I'm a little tight with money. Where do you buy career/work clothes for low prices?

I also have a suit from Sears. It's the only item I own from Sears and generally feel that their clothing is disgusting, ill-fitting, and smells like an
old basement. However, I've worn this suit to many job interviews, gotten many many compliments on it, and have had it since high school.

TJ Maxx/Marshalls.
I've gotten a bunch of pairs of Limited and Express pants there for under $20. |

I don't spend a lot on tops (TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Loehmanns/Target) but trust me on this: invest in good quality pants (and skirts if you like). I still wear
pants I bought from J. Crew seven or eight years ago and they look like the day I bought them.

Surprisingly, I just bought 3 new & cute outfits for my new job at Wal-Mart. I actually like them.

H&M
Target I have a fairly casual work place but H&M is great for items to mix & match Yes and I agree about investing in a couple of good pcs from J.Crew or Ann Taylor to last you a couple years. |
