Can't hold your vitamins?? |

Anyone else have a problem taking a daily multi-vitamin? My roommate and I both decided it would be a good idea to start taking vitamins. Both of us have
puked. We both learned that take with food is more than a friendly suggestion, but it even makes us both ill when taken with food. I stopped taking mine after
3 days...I think she's still trying. Is this common? Do you take a multi-vitamin?? Is it something the body just needs to get used to?

I try to take one if I remember. Which brand are you taking? Maybe switch brands?

I dunno but I feel nausea if I take my multi-vitamin without food. I think it's the iron ???

Take them at night right before going to bed. You never feel the nausea and you wake up refreshed.

Get the kind without iron. When I was pregnant my vitamins made me so sick, and my doc said it was because I didn't need the extra iron that is packed into
those pills.

You are supposed to take them with food. If you are still experiencing nausea you might want to try switching brands.

Vitamins used to make me nauseous, too, until I started taking them at night, instead of first thing in the morning.

Try gummy vitamins instead. They're yummy and I doubt they'll make you sick.

I had that problem. With or without food, they would make my stomach hurt. Even half the dose would do it so for the longest time I took childrens vitamins.
Not the best for an adult but something is better than nothing.
Now I take an adult vitamin. It's the One-A-Day Vitacrave. They're gummies and don't bother me at all. I started with one at a time and then a couple days later I took the full dosage (2 at a time) and no problem what-so-ever. Been taking them for a 4 months now or so. So try looking into those if you haven't already. |

I have never had a problem taking them. I take them right before I eat breakfast. I take a multivit, Vit D, and Calcium.

I've been trying One-A-Day Women's...Maybe I'll try to start the night time thing and if that doesn't work the gummies!

I definitely cannot take vitamins (of any kind really) without having food in my stomach beforehand. Not during or right after----I have to eat before
otherwise I always get that nausea feeling.
