He knows basic commands, appears to be housetrained, and even slept through the night!
We left him yesterday to see how he would react and sure enough, he howled like crazy. I felt so bad for leaving him but eventually, we will have to leave him for a few hours to go to work and run errands. We left him in the basement with his bed, blankets, toys, and made sure it was plenty warm down there for him.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help him with this? I feel so bad!

My mom used to keep the TV on, quietly, for the dogs. It helps.

He cannot be left home alone or he will tear the house upppp! He went through 2 families and 2
shelters
So I can't leave him alone and bring him to doggie daycamp near my house.
I got all wrapped up in the fact that you got a beagle
