When I was a kid, if I got stung I would break out all over and that area that was stung swelled up horribly. Today I got stung on my finger and it got red in
that area and swelled a small bit but after an hour it went away. 
I think I'm no longer allergic to bee stings.

I used to
 people and tell them I was allergic so no one would make fun of me for acting like a crazy person whenever a bee flew around me.

I didn't think this was a bee today. I was standing outside waiting for my daughter's school bus. I was wearing my hoodie with the hood up.
Something flew into my hood and I went to swat it away and the bee stung me.
