Night and day. My hair is 180 degrees different with the new, expensive straightener I bought than the cheap, $14.99 straightener from Walmart I've had

What kind did you get? I finally replaced my CHI after 5 years!

I can't remember the brand...starts with a J but it's a tourmaline and not a ceramic. My hair stylist talked me into getting that rather than a Chi.

I found the opposite to be true...I had a $100 straightener and my new $30 one wins.

I have had a cheap Conair for 10 years now. It's still going strong and flattens my hair super fast. It gets a little hot but it's not unbearable.

That's so true. I tried to use my friend's cheap flat iron once and my hair wanted to wither up and die like the wicked witch feet in the wizard of oz.

it is a huge difference if you have messy curly hair. I think I'd go without food for a week before I'd give up my expensive straighter & go back
to the cheap one
