My mom said it was the worst pain of her life - and she had 2 kids naturally.

Jeanine why did you get yours out? I want mine out but I feel like I won't be able to convince a doctor, I've heard it's hard to get them to do it.

It took 1 week to feel normal again but I don't think the pain set in for 4-5 days. The pain wasn't horrible, just really annoying and would not go
away. I was 17 when I had mine taken out.

I could talk right away once I slept the groggy part off. Took a week to eat something normal and 2 weeks to really feel normal again.
And I got mine out about 3 years ago when I was 25. |

Yeah the pain is pretty horrible
I was able to talk just fine after surgery, but when I woke up the next day.. i'd rather not even bother trying, it hurts to talk. Laura my tonsils never gave me problems, but I had an abnormal growth on them which bothered me enough to get surgery over. The doctor told me if he found it necessary he would just take my tonsils out too while he was at it, sooo, i woke up from surgery with no tonsils and my little personal hell began. |
