My computer isn't connected to my printer (long story, but basically I lost the installation CD), and I have to save crap to my jump drive and load it
onto my roommate's computer to print documents. I don't save anything from her computer to the drive. I literally insert it, open my document, print
the doc, and remove the drive.
Her computer is eaten alive with viruses and crap, apparently. (I didn't know.) Could I have picked something up there?
Can you pick up viruses from a jump drive?

only if you downloaded an infected file from her computer. viruses dont just "jump" from disc to disc.

you can't download the installation inform. most printers these days have that option.
